Third Annual Octoberfest Blog Hop

What a great necklace, the colors are so lovely! It is both sophisticated and mysterious. Thanks for sharing!

Rita of Toltec Jewels is hosting this blog hop to celebrate Autumn.

I had bought a calavera pendant from Hippie Chick Designs and decided to use it as the focal of a necklace. A calavera is a representation of a human skull made from sugar or clay, which is used in the Mexican celebration of Day of the Dead on November 1 and 2. I also used small amber beads and lampwork beads I had made.

For more information on the Day of the Dead check out this site.

Please go to Toltec Jewels for a list of participants in this blog hop and do visit their sites.
