Hello guys! Last week, I’ve shared you a DIY Christmas card made with quilling paper, do you like it? Today I’m gonna share you another quilling paper tutorial – DIY Christmas ornament! Hope you guys can be inspired for your own DIYs!
How to make the hanging Christmas ornament:
Step 1: Make the main part.
1st, prepare several yellow quilling paper and roll them into a hoop, the diameter should be about 10cm.
2nd, make some small circles with red quilling paper.
3rd, attach the red circles into the yellow hoop.
Step 2: Make the leaves.
1st, cut 4 pieces of green quilling papers, roll them and put them in the measure hole to adjust their sizes.
2nd, glue the end of the papers and press them to make them like leaves.
Step 3: Add the leaves to the big circle.
1st, glue the leaves onto the big circle like picture shows below.
2nd, make a small paper bead with yellow quilling paper and attach it onto the big circle.
Step 4: Make a flower decoration.
1st, cut 7 pieces of 10cm yellow paper and roll them into 8cm beads.
2nd, press the beads to make them into flower petals.
3rd, make another yellow bead and attach all the petals to it to finish the flower.
Step 5: Finish the Christmas ornament.
Attach the flower onto the small red circles and thread a red ribbon through the head round bead.
And here comes the final look!
